Three of us, a couple with an 11 year old child went for Saturday evening dinner. We went on spec and found a table. Service was good and friendly. We all had fish dishes and enjoyed them, though mine was rather bathed in cream. Dishes are cooked to order so it takes a while for food to appear. The atmosphere is somewhat marred by the place being a very popular fish and ship takeaway so there is a perpetual queue in the same room as the dining - it is on the other side of the room so you get used to it. Similarly, the restaurant has full length windows on two of its four sides that face the street, so you are dining in full view of busy pedestrian traffic.
