Where do I start? The cottage couldn't have been more fitting for our holiday. The place was immaculate, the views superb. There was a short walk down to the harbour which was easy down the steps but not on the way back up but we treated it as a gym workout! The whole area was quiet and all you could hear were the seagulls. I would certainly recommend this cottage. Even parking was an adventure!
Have just returned from a few days at The Seadog in Brixham and it was lovely. The owners had left a welcome pack on arrival of bread, butter, milk, crumpets etc which was really kind. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. As it is in an elevated position, the views are amazing, especially at night with the twinkling lights of the harbour. Everything is close by so we didn't need the car. As parking is tight on the narrow roads around the house (we have a large 4x4), we unloaded and then parked in a car park on the harbour which cost £20 for 3 days. The walk up to The Seadog is quite steep but good for keeping fit and we had a buggy too!! We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here. Fab
Our family (2 adults and 3 children) had a fantastic stay in this cottage. I think we must have been some of the first people to stay here because everything seemed immaculate inside. It was a very welcoming property and had some great views across the harbour - really nice to just gaze out with a glass of wine in hand! The whole cottage had a lovely feeling to it and the children loved looking out of the bedroom window down on all the boats!
It was easy to reach a number of great attractions in the area and the walk down to Brixham harbour to explore the town was short. I wasn't sure how easy parking would be but on the odd occasion when we couldn't park outside the cottage it was easy to find a space nearby. Definitely a cottage we will try and visit again!
