Dropped in here for lunch this week, and was surprised how busy it was. Clientele was an interesting mix of holidaymakers, families and business people. Although they did accommodate us, we were told reservations are preferred, and service might be slow.
In fairness, although it took some time to get our drinks, the service after that was very good. I had the sirloin steak, which was tasty and cooked the way I like it. It was apparently served with mushrooms and tomatoes - it actually came with a single small mushroom and one cherry tomato! Good job I'd ordered a side of cauliflower gratin. Partner's pulled pork bun was delicious (but again, quite small). As if to make up for that, my son's pasta dish was gigantic, and would have fed a hungry adult, let alone a 10 year old child. We hoovered up his leftovers so we didn't leave hungry!
The views across the bay are stunning, and the buzzy vibe was great. It's not cheap, but that's not why you come here.
