Very nice and clean B& B ran by an elderly lady. Nice Irish breakfast. The place is not in the country as the pictures lead you to believe but it is close to the town and close to Tara Hill and Trim Castle.

Our lovely hostess, Ita, and her son, Mick were very welcoming and kind hosts. Ita told us to make ourselves at home and use the dining room facilities whenever we wanted. We made ourselves tea and toast for a light dinner. The dining room was set up with white tablecloths and nice crockery and cutlery. Lovely breakfast. Our bed and pillows were very soft. Large bathroom with separate bath and shower. We asked Mick a few questions soon after arriving and he looked into everything for us which included booking tickets on the Ferry and printing them out for us.. Further help that he gave us was above and beyond what you would expect. We are very grateful to him and his mum.

Location is practical and relaxing. The B&B is comfortable and warm but, what we surprised was the kind service of the owners. They helped us with all their possible replying to all our questions. Thanks!!!

This charming B&B is located within 7 miles of the amusement park, Tayto Park. We were a mixed family of 7 ( three children under 6, a teenager and three adults). We were given two rooms next to each other. One room had a double and two twin beds. The second room had one double and one twin. We had pre-requested a cot for the one year old, but it never materialised. We made do with the baby sharing with Mommy in the double bed. The rooms were crowded due to the number of beds in each, but certainly adequate for our needs. The linens were clean. The rooms could benefit from some attention: the shower door was about ready to fall off. The owner is a delightful lady with a crusty sense of humour. She could not have been more helpful, even allowing us to use the dining room for a takeaway dinner. The breakfast was very well done - the coffee especially noteworthy. The offerings were ample and we were encouraged to help ourselves to coffee and/or tea anytime. If we return to the area, we would stay again.

I arrived soaking wet after a trip to Tayto Park, the hostess offered to put our clothes in the dryer which was a great help- She then recommended a great place for dinner which was less than 5 mins away and with 2 grumpy children this was a great help.
Our room had a double and 2 singles was clean and tidy, beds were very comfy and i had a great nights sleep.
Breakfast was a fry which was ok and there was cereal and toast etc.
On leaving and paying my bill i explained to the hostess that i had to travel to Dublin to sort out my passport - She said "ach sure i will ring our local post office and will see if you can do it there". Unfortunately i couldnt, so she go on the phone to the passport office in Dublin - Again she didnt have to do this. She really went out of her way to help - A lovely lady i thought and i definately would go back because of her kindness
