This is the second time my family have stayed in Mount Brandon Cottages. On both occasions Andrea was very welcoming and informative. The cottages are clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed whilst going to The Devils Menu for a two day cookery course. Was one of the best weekends I ever had away! Everyone is so nice and make such an effort to ensure your stay is memorable. Loved it!!

Excellent! Very happy you enjoyed your stay with us, Jeanette. Please tell your friends and we will be delighted to take care of you and them the next time you are down here in the sunny southeast, where you should check out the smallest street in the world and one of the quaintest pubs ever... Just to whet your appetite. :-) Thanks again. Andrea

“Wonderful place, a haven of tranquility, the perfect escape”
Reviewed 16 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Our trip to Mt Brandon Cottages was absolutely wonderful, the house was really spacious warm and comfortable. Felt like home away from home with everything you could possibly need. Andrea was the perfect host and even left out some yummy cookies for us. We loved that we could bring our dog Daisy with us as the area has some of the most stunning walks which she loved just as much as we did. One of the highlights of our trip was our pottery class with Carmen in her pottery studio which was opposite our house. My hubby tried his hand at the wheel and I made a tea light holder, it was great fun and Carmen was a fantastic teacher. We will definitely come back during the summer with some friends so we can take advantage of the BBQ hut which looks fabulous. Thanks Andrea for a wonderful holiday experience.

Thank you very much, Linda, Paul and Daisy! We absolutely loved having you stay with us. Pity about the weather - you had to arrive during the worst flooding Graiguenamanagh has ever seen, didn't you... But next time, we hope, the weather will be kinder to you and you will get to use the BBQ hut and enjoy even more of the beautifully stunning surroundings.
We are delighted that you all had a good time - including Daisy, who is a truly lovely dog.
Give us a shout the next time you are thinking of travelling to the sunny southeast or ancient east. :-)

“One of the nicest self-catering places I've stayed in!”

We stayed in Mount Brandon for two weeks in June. The weather was glorious, which was a plus, but weather or not, this is one of the most relaxing and lovely places I've ever stayed! Andrea and Carmen are warm, welcoming and helpful, the houses are comfortable and homely, and the gardens and surroundings are gorgeous. Plenty to do in the area.. we walked, cycled and kayaked almost literally on the doorstep :-) Lovely walks for humans and dogs along the river... I only hope the powers-that-be see sense and install the proposed cycleway along the canal paths, so that more people can utilise the attractions in this lovely part of the country. Hot tip: Graigue Kebabish do fab take -away indian food, cooked fresh right in front of you... nyom!
Will definitely be back to visit Mount Brandon Cottages, we're still missing it, including the dogs!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Mount Brandon. The cottage was very cozy and we enjoyed a fire every evening. We found the location great as we had family close by and at the same time discovered and explored Graiguenamanagh. The scenery was beautiful. We will be back. Great hospitality! Great restaurants and good Irish food and friendly people.
