Nice stop for one night on the road to NC. The desk clerk was super nice and accommodating. She sped up my check in, as I was behind someone who was slow. The room was quiet, even though it's right off the highway. It was also clean, and everything worked well. Good wifi, and TV. The room was nothing fancy, but had everything I needed, and the bed was very comfortable. Pillows, not so much, but I brought my own. I was on the very back side of the hotel, and the ice machine didn't work in my block of the building, but it was a short walk to one that did.
Busy highway exit, and a lot of restaurant choices. I ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant that was attached to the hotel, and it was very good!
The only major problem that I had was that the breakfast had no proteins on it. As a diabetic, I can't eat cereal, pastries, or bagels. I stay at Days Inns a lot, and it's rare I can't find something to eat for breakfast. I wound up getting breakfast from the Waffle House that is basically in the parking lot. No, biggy, really, but one of the great perks of the Days Inn is that they provide breakfast. Most of them have something I can eat.
All in all, very pleasant night on the road. More
