Stayed there last week. Had a great time 2 min walking from centre of a gastronomic delight of a village. Even the costcutter has 6 different varieties of roasted coffee beans. Plenty of nice walks but rocky coastline. No sand within walking distance. Dublin very handy by car or dart. Will be back.
We arrived from Malaysia after 16 hours journey only to be greeted by lovely care taker of the house who lives next door... Thanks you Mrs Rosa Hick...She already warmed the house before we arrived. Mind you we were still in shock due to Irish weather... You can get all amenities by walking distance for example public transport bus to airport or Dublin, groceries from SuperValu store. We rent our own transport from Airport car rental company on the next day, So.. transport was not an issue for us. However bear in mind there is limited parking bay which located along the Convent Road, You can park the car for Euro 2 per day. The house was more than comfortable for our family. My children loves it from the first day. Cosy.. cooking was important as we need to cook special meals for our younger child.
I really recommanded this place
