We had a wonderful week in this lovely property and can recommend both the accommodation and the area. Our hosts were very thoughtful and knowledgeable about the area and we were able to have some great days out. Some of the places we visited were Assissi, Lake Trasimino and Spoleto - all were attractive and easy to get to. The property has a beautiful garden with far reaching views across Umbrian countryside and is a pleasant place to sit. We did not use the swimming pool but it looked fine.

We personally couldn't recommend the experience more highly. Comfortable, spacious apartment, sensational views and above all two very kind and generous hosts in Brian and Rosemary. Very much looking forward to seeing both them and Acqualoreto again. Fabulous.
We stayed in this apartment for 8 nights in May and really enjoyed the experience. The apartment has stunning views across Umbrian countryside and the little village where it is situated has the advantage of a bar and restaurant. Within 90 minutes drive, there are numerous villages, small towns and attractions to visit and we had difficulty in prioritising! Assissi, Spello and Lake Trasimeno were among my favourites. Our hosts were also able to recommend restaurants in the area. The beautiful garden at the apartment is a particular feature and perfect for sitting out admiring the view and listening to the birds singing. There is very little else making any noise apart from the bell in the bell tower opposite which added to the sense of being in a traditional rural village. Fresh herbs are available from the garden and there is a big supermarket within 20 minutes drive with a smaller convenience store about 15 minutes drive away. A car is a 'must' here to really explore the area.

Spent the last week of September at the Villa with a friend. We had the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom arrangement. The Villa's situation, gardens and rooms are exactly as depicted in their photos. The views are stunning from every window, The kitchen is completely equipped for any sort of cooking (although we didn't do any...the supermarket deli in nearby Todi is filled with wonderful prepared foods!), A large part of the charm of the Villa is it's unique floor plan, including the daily climb to and from the 3rd floor, great for working off some of the pasta calories.
Rosemary is a gracious hostess; touches like the pot of pansies on the kitchen table and the freshly baked fruit loaf for our first morning breakfast are only available in a small establishment like this.
Our weather was a bit too cool for the pool but what a wonderful location for a glass of wine after a long day touring about. Again, the views out over the valley are stunning. We had full access to the garden area, protected by lovely Taffy the Corgi.
We loved the experience of life in a small country village. The church bells twice a day across the street, the greetings of other villagers when we were out and about, delivery of the winter firewood, the children leaving for school in the morning and returning in the afternoon.
To coin a phrase...I'll be back!
