So Ruby Falls was not actually on our plans during our spring break but at last minute we decided to go. Unfortunately since it was spring break it was very crowded and the lines were very long and inside the cave was also very crowded. With that being said, it was worth it. The cave has so many beautiful formations including stalactites and water running thru the cave. At the end was a very amazing waterfall. Our tour guide was not as informative or educational as we would have liked especially since we had 4 younger children with us and would have liked them to learn more about the cave and the history of Ruby Falls. Definitely stop here if you are in the area, it is worth it!

We would not however recommend going to or spending any money for Rock City. Rock city is what gets you access to Lookout Mountain with just a waterfall coming off the top of a mountain. It seems like a waist of money going here but it is the same company that does Ruby Falls.

Something we always wanted to take in and finally did - very worthwhile. Enjoyed our evening tour and very informative. Our guide Mat was excellent - very knowledgeable and attentive to his group. Highly recommend this place.

Just awe inspiring. If you have difficulty walking or are obese, probably not a good choice for you. No need to buy tickets in advance as you can get them very easily there.

We stopped here after taking the incline. This was a way better experience. We bought tickets and then stood in line for 15 minutes. Our tour guide was fun. He pointed out some of the formations as we walked. We walked for about about 45 minutes until we made it to Ruby Falls. It is great when you make it to that room, they turn on some music and light the falls up. While you are walking sometimes it gets tight. You have to hang on to the wall while another crew passes. We enjoyed the walk and the formations.

Me and my wife love this place. Like lookout mtn. I was here in 1969 and 1971 as a child, and came back in 2015, 2016 and 2017 as an adult. And I will be back again I'm sure. I love this place !!! And I'm not alone, it is usually pretty steadily busy. In 2016, we stopped there in February, even in the cold it was fairly busy.
