Our family of 5 comfortably stayed at this refuge in the heart of the Black Hills. The property boasted all the ammenities and more+++. The added touches were purposeful. We appreciated the rustic & modern ammenities (photographs did not do it justice). Our stay encompassed unforgettable laughs during yard games, day hikes, patio dinners, & star gazing the open night sky from the hot tub! Location was unbeatable as we neighbored all the major attractions; Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, 1880 train, 5 minutes drive to lake/beach access, Historic Lead/Deadwood Gold Mine town, & so much more! We talked with Aaron about making this an annual trip for our family. He was truly responsive and helpful when planning our black hills trip!
This new cabin with privacy has pine trees across and down the hill, and there are only a couple of other vacation homes away from it in the area. The front porch has comfy chairs and also a patio table with chairs which is great for reading in the morning. We watched the lightning storm there on a evening filled with rain. The cabin has lots of space and is loaded with kitchen pots and pans. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back porch which looks out to the pine trees. We appreciated being in the country atmosphere instead of a motel in town.
