“Nice Break beautiful house”

Frampton Plantation House
Reviewed 6 April 2018 via mobile

We found this place by fluke and when it stated it was free admission, who could go wrong? I think this place is just beautiful and situated in a nice rural spot with a 250 year old oak standing post out front. It is nice to see the local government using its funds appropriately to keep gems like this alive for future generations to enjoy.

Kids got to run around and I stretched out in the rear grass in the sunshine by the pretty back porch. I would live here if we could.

Great little visitors’ center housed in an historic farm house. Adorable gift shop with some historical info sprinkled in. Restrooms are super clean, lots of info about local places to visit.

It's a lovely stop if you're in the area. Free to enter the house which is a gift shop. It's pretty and doesn't take long. We were disappointed in the lack of history related about the family and grounds.

Quaint Historic, Southern Plantation House perfect for taking a break from I-95 traffic hassles. Stretch your legs, walk the pups and picnic under ancient live oaks. This is southern low country...bring bug spray. There are public restrooms, free historical displays, and personable staff. The gift shop has lovely souvenirs at reasonable prices, without pressure to purchase.
