“To say the least, we were disappointed.”

Villas of Foxwood Hills
Reviewed 11 July 2008

We had 2 units. Both were similar in condition. There were cobwebs in all the corners, living spiders, and dead cockroaches. The appliances were all really old. The kitchen cabinets were open on top, and we made the mistake of looking on top of them. There were 2 inches of dead bugs up there.

The exterior was in no better shape. It had chipped paint on the doors, wood siding that needed tended to, and cracks in the concrete that had weeds growing up through them. The parking area was all hilly and very difficult to walk on.

To say the least we were disappointed.

The pool was really nice though. The only problem was it was a bit of a car ride to get to it.

The main problem with this place was there was nothing to do around it. You had to drive over an hour to find something for the family to do. We had 4 children with us and if it weren't for the pool, I don't know what we would have done.

When we opened the front door I had a flash back to my high school gym locker room. (not in a good way)
When I emptied our ice chest I left the lid open. A hugh cockroach fell into it from the ceiling. (This will not put your wife into a very romatic mood)
All of the appliances need to be sent back to the Good Will Store where they found them.
The wooden walkways and porchs are rotten and should be replaced before someone gets hurt.
The ladies at the office are friendly and helpful.

This resort was ok.It is in need of maintainence. We had mold in our unit. There are signs of poor maintainance all around the resort. You must travel at least 25 miles to get to anything worth seeing. The outdoor pool and restaurant are one mile from the resort. Even the locals asked, why would you come to a resort in Wesrminster. The staff was very nice.It is very quiet and overall everything worked in unit. I would not return.
