I ordered the fried green tomatoes, based on earlier reviewers. They are probably okay if you like battered green tomatoes. I don't.. I prefer my dredged and with a crispy crust - these were not. The tomatoes were fine, but the batter was doughy on the inside. Not a fan.

Normally we have been pleased with our food, but this latest visit was extremely disappointing. An order of chicken salad supreme plate was supposed to have nuts and grapes...only one grape found and very sparse on the nuts....then to top that, it was a minimal ice cream scoop of chicken, very small serving for the price...supreme NOT. The sour cream and chives French fries had minimal seasoning and were over cooked to a deep brown crisp. Nothing measured up to previous frequent visits for lunch. No refill on Coke or water, lemon on water glass was nasty, and had to find the waitress to get a little more honey mustard for the chicken strip order. We will hesitate to eat here again...losing what was a favorite restaurants! Lousy.

The menu has a big variety of choices, the service is pretty good, and prices are not too bad. It doesn't look like much from the outside but overall it's a good choice. If they would do a little house keeping and update a little, it would be great.

I love to get the fried green tomatoes and soup of the day. Very reasonably priced meal combos and nice portion sizes. In addition to the huge selection of sandwiches and hot foods on the menu, the daily specials are a treat...some creative twist on a classic dish.

The menu choices are more than 100+. Unique setting. In a great location in downtown Seneca. Friendly staff and ALWAYS great food. Adjacent to the restaurant attached on the other side is the fudge factory, which offers fresh made fudge and ice cream after a great meal at the Sandwich Shop. Great place all around
