I manage hotels for a living. I was SHOCKED at how rude the front desk agent, Hedi was. We were stopping at a half way point for our trip to Key West for our honeymoon. This woman behind the front desk was awful. After telling me several times we didnt have a reservation there and to try another hotel she FINALLY found our reservation, practically threw the key packets at us and told us if we used a luggage cart 'we better bring it back down'. There was no coffee available in the morning when I left either. Shower was dirty and two of the towels were too. Extremely disappointed

Decent stay overall. Good value with travel book coupon. Reasonably clean but showing a little age in some places, but a whole lot nicer than some places much more $$. Management might benefit from a sense of humor (she was cranky at check in AND check out), but overall met or slightly exceeded expectations for a property in this franchise. Can recommend to fellow travellers

First off, the people I dealt with here were great. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. The bed was comfortable enough. Everything worked.

The room, though, showed a lot of wear. There were stains on the couch; it needs to be replaced. The carpet was worn through in places; it needs to be replaced. The walls were a little tatty in spots; they need to be painted. The room just had a sort of tired, old ambiance to it. Spruce it up and I would give it five stars. As is, I can only manage three.

Hotel was not 'dirty' nor was it clean. Our room was dated in decor and did not seem to have been checked for cleanliness and bugs. Toilet seat had a hair on it and dead roach in sink. No big deal because I can pick it up and throw it away-- I just assume that when renting a room that those things have been taken care of for me. The beds were clean and the place was quiet. The morning breakfast was a nice perk. Simple breakfast of fruit, cereal, toast, eggs.
For the cost of the room I'd try another place next time.

My husband and I traveled to Santee for the eclipse and had a nice stay at the Comfort Inn. The room was clean and the staff were wonderful. I was very impressed on how the staff kept up with things during the craziness of the eclipse. The place was fully booked yet the breakfast food was always plentiful and the pool towels always available. Downsides: our room was noisy. There isn't central AC, just window units which are loud. WiFi is only available in the lobby not the rooms. We were in room 106, directly behind the front desk and couldn't access the wifi. All in all, not a bad place to stay.
