We were going to South Carolina for a wedding and wanted to centrally located to the venue plus local sites. We chose the Laurel Mountain Inn and could not have been happier! The Inn was so nice and super clean, my wife is a fanatic about cleanliness. The inn is also literally within walking distance of the front gate of the Table Rock state park entrance, not that you would actually walk there. I highly recommend the Laurel mountain Inn if you ever find yourself staying in Pickens SC.

Thank you William for your review. We strive to provide a clean, pleasant place to stay when visiting Table Rock or just passing through on Scenic Highway 11. I am blessed to wake up to the view of Table Rock and the beauty of the mountains. Thank you for your review and hope to see you in the future.

Enjoyed a quiet weekend here exploring local waterfalls. In the evening sat in the chairs outside our room and watched the sun go down over the mountains. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel at home.

We were in the area for a wedding and moved from a hotel in Greenville to be closer to family. The Laurel Mountain Inn was perfect for our needs: basic but clean, comfortable, quiet, charming. The proprietress, Sherry, was very sweet and accommodating, and we even adopted the Beanie Baby staying in our room! The porch outside our rooms ended up being the perfect place for quiet conversation with family until the wee hours of the night. Lovely little place!

The location was beautiful, Laurel covered the mountain behind the motel. It is very quiet, and above any road noise. The room had a refrigerator, coffee pot with enough coffee packs to fill my small thermos for day hike. The unit was very clean, for those who are needing WiFi, not real good service, and only a small TV, but not a problem for us, as we were there for the natural beauty of the area. Very nice unit for our visit.

Room Tip: Every unit is on one floor, all units fine, unit 2 was short distance from parking lot and liked it.

The owners here were certainly very nice. Things were clean. Views of Table rock a little limited and you are certainly a ways away from towns and amenities. But if you are here to hike Table Rock it's the right place. A little musty and dated. The road noise just beyond the trees can be annoying in such a nice otherwise quite place.
