Flamingo Grill is everything you want in a restaurant: cool decor - 50s diner like, but original (they have a restored '46 Indian motorcycle to greet you and its perfection sets the scene for your meal) Friendly people - the manager wanders around ensuring everyone is happy + great menu for seafood and not: the flounder was amazing as was the salmon and the prime rib (blackened or not) and Delmonico steaks are terrific. We took two couples separately and everyone was extremely pleased with dinner, with the drinks/wine and with the service. Back to decor - the lighting: it's just right so you can read the menu, but not too bright. Reservations not taken, but it helps if you call ahead as they keep a list. Our highest recommendations.

a nice surprising restaurant with great choice of good food. Super professional and friendly service. The interior and the neon reminded us of a film set, a beautiful classic restaurant. Recommended.

We were in town for the weekend, came in the first night about 15 minutes before closing and the hostess asked if it was two of us. We said we'll just eat at the bar, the restaurant was pretty empty, they close at 10 but there were still quite a few people in the bar. Sat down at the bar and a gentleman came over and asked if they told us they were closed? Obviously not... Went back the second night and sat at the bar again. We each had a side salad and the lobster bites. Absolutely love their French/Italian dressing. Lobster bites were good but the breading is a little heavy for my liking. Bartender was attentive.

The Flamingo Grill is on my “Top 5” list of restaurants in Myrtle Beach, no wonder it was voted Number #1 by the locals. Good food and great service at a reasonable price. Our waitress was Lindsay, she was awesome! If you are looking for a nice place for dinner ... this is it.

This American and Seafood fare restaurant has a terrific neon light and 40's actor motif and decor. You can order anything Oscar and the oysters are amazing. The restaurant takes special care in training your servers to be the best at what they do! It is a little dark inside but it is well suited for the atmosphere.
