Portions were unreasonably small...I'm not looking for a grotesque amount of food, but if I order a Crab Cake Sandwich, it would be nice if the Crabcake was at least the size of the Kaiser.
On some websites they rated this restaurant 5 stars...the reviewers must have been paid for that rating :( Won't come Back

My husband and I had dinner there Friday night then took friends on Saturday night. Service was excellent, even though we asked to have the salad and entree split--no problem! Oysters and scallops were perfect, tender, and flavorful. Flounder was delightful. Hushpuppies were perfect. REAL butter was served at the table. All good on every point.

I have been eating here for years and have just never thought about rating it. If you want a lovely homey atmosphere with fresh and perfectly prepared seafood WHILE sitting a stones throw away from the sea, then this is the place.

During our recent visit we ate here 3 times - breakfast buffet (excellent, lots of choices) lunch, (nice menu - with good specials )and dinner, (a bit pricey but worth it for the quality of food.) The atmosphere is what puts this place a cut above - warm, cozy with a real down- home vibe. You feel welcomed by the friendly staff from the time you enter, and the number of locals eating there are testimony to the consistency of service and food. The sweet tea is excellent and refills endless and any of their low country special dishes are worth a try. The place gets busy, but the parking lot is big and we never had to wait long for a nice table.
