I tagged along with a spouse who was leading a presentation of health care and the stay was wonderful. Clean sandy beach, caring staff, Steve our bartender provided superb customer service and was fun and accommodating. Food was yummy, pot stickers and spring rolls. The hostess seating us on Sunday brunch Oct 22 was the cheeriest greeter we experienced the entire weekend. She and our server made sure our breakfast was memorable. That's hard to do! She thanked us and encouraged us to return, which we certainly will.

Room Tip: Ask for the Southern, Eastern View, above 4 floors. HVAC's are noisy outside rooms below 4.

Attending a conference with a reservation made 6 months prior. Late arrival around 12 a.m. and the place is off several side streets and not easily found.
At the front desk, the guy says I have no room and a room has been found at a Marriott about 5 miles away which will be paid for.
The hotel overbooks on the assumption people will cancel or be no shows life airline flights. So if you arrive late you might not have a room. No apology.
Had to drive back out the narrow winding roads and to the Marriott.
On return the next morning, Bill B at the front desk was very apologetic and attempted to sooth my frayed nerves. He is excellent at customer service and this hotel needs more like him.
Group sales blamed the problem on a computer overselling....really?
The rooms are mainly oceanview with only about 10% of the rooms oceanfront. You can see the ocean AND the very large and noisy AC units on the roof.
You can sit in poolside chairs with cushions all day for 2/$50...Wow.
Food at the hotel is bland and pricey. Don't recommend.
Rooms are very nice. Shower is to die for! Beautiful and great pressure.
Working all day and driving until 12 a.m. only to be told I had no room and had to go elsewhere was awful. Even with a confirmation number and a call to them saying I would be arriving late did not hold my room even with my credit card on file. Beware.

For the eighth year, we have held our large conference at this hotel. The facilities, the service, the renovated rooms, the meeting areas are great, but the wonderful staff is what makes this hotel just perfect for a large conference venue.

Room Tip: Select rooms for magnificent ocean views or side views with balconies.

A little hard to get to but a very nice place to stay. Several restaurants and swimming pools. Beach and ocean right at Hotel. My son said they have the best crab cakes in the world. Staff nice, room clean. Lots of things to do on Ocean Blvd. Grear seafood everywhere.

This past weekend was our fourth time staying at this hotel and certainly will not be our last. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. The flights from our area to Myrtle Beach are less than desirable (landing us before the day has really started and our return flight departing late at night. The staff always makes any possible accommodations around these crazy hours.
The rooms are clean and spacious. We had an ocean view room with a balcony which is where we started and ended our days. Purely delightful!
Having the gorgeous pools and ocean was ideal.
We would highly recommend staying here and we will be back soon!
