Description: Inspired by the great “beach joints” that once dotted the Atlantic coast, LandShark Bar & Grill is located at the Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade right next to the Skywheel. In the center of beachfront action by day or night, it’s the perfect blend of ocean breezes, boardwalk action, great food, generous drinks and outstanding Beach Music. The menu is American beach food with a fresh coastal twist and, of course, cold draft LandShark and those fabulous frozen concoctions. In the evening, the scene subtly shifts to nightlife with the light show of the Skywheel and the sounds of live entertainment and street performances.

On the boardwalk, nice water views, friendly bartenders. Appetizers a tad on the pricey side ($12-ish). Loud music and TV.

This Place has one of the best locations on the boardwalk and a great view of the ocean. This place is owned by the same corporation that owns margaritaville and has the same menu. The staff were almost adequate but the Bloody Mary we had were the worst ever, I mean BAD.

We stopped by tonight after a walk on the beach. We had a 20 minute wait, which wasn't a big deal. While waiting, for our food, we played a game of Kings Corners. We have been doing this the entire week here in Myrtle Beach. Our waitress came and went while we played. When our appetizer was brought to the table, the staff member told us we couldn't play cards because it was illegal in a restaurant. I looked at her funny, but she insisted. Luckily we had finished our first game, but we all found this a bit odd since no other establishment asked us to stop at any time during the week. This was day six. We always stop when the food comes, so it wasn't a huge deal, just odd.

Then our food came. My husband and I ordered the fish tacos, my daughter a burger and my other daughter a hot dog. Needless to say the food was not very good. My tacos were okay and my chips were stale. Starving, I drowned the tacos in salsa to eat them. My daughter's hot dog was black, from being over cooked on the grill. She ate the waffle fries, but not the hot dog. My other daughter said the burger was okay. Her only complaint was the bacon was chewy and the french fries were bland. She ate the burger, not the fries. My husband ate his whole meal, but wasn't overly impressed. The server never asked us if our meal was okay. She seemed to avoid our table once the food was brought out.

As a family, we all agreed it was okay, but definitely not an establishment we would visit again. Too bad, because we haven't had a bad meal or experience since we got to Myrtle Beach. Wishing we had gone to the Bowery instead.

Food was decent and the menu seemed pretty small not the greatest selection especially for kids. Also I thought the nacho appetizer was overpriced at $18!

Thought the food and service we're just average. It was a chilly night, so the patio wasn't open, but this restaurant would make a better drink spot on the patios than a place to grab a bite.
