Description: You wouldn't believe you weren't sitting near the ocean in New England. Located in the heart of downtown Greenville, across from the Peace Center for Performing Arts, everything about Nantucket inspires a feeling of deep satisfaction. Picture rich walnut-stained wood, elegant yet warm lighting, natural earth-tone colors, and the delicate mingling of fine wine, laughter and conversation. Nantucket is that rare destination that is at once relaxing and entertaining...Intimate and open...Romantic and engaging. Long, panoramic windows extend alongside the inviting bar and dining area to afford views of the Village Green and the courtyard patio, complete with a towering, artfully crafted, lighted stone waterfall.

Unfortunately our very first visit to Nantucket will also be our last...
Our waiter was very nice, but it took 15 minutes for our cocktails to arrive...
We ordered oysters as a starter, 2 different kinds, they were served without explanation which was which, we had to ask...oysters were served without crackers...after they were served we were asked if we wanted any??
Oysters we’re not well shucked, lots of pieces of shell and there was ice on top of them, which ‘watered’ them down..
Worst of, after we ate the first six, the minute we put the Fanny Mae’s in our mouth, we knew they were off. We told our waiter and he asked if we wanted 6 of the first kind instead, which we accepted. Unfortunately they came when we were eating our main course...so we sent them back.
Crab cakes were good, lobster tacos mediocre.
The bad oysters were taken off our bill, but no apologies or other compensation (glass of wine would have been nice) was given.
Both my husband and I did not get sick from eating the bad oysters but we didn’t feel good either.
We recently moved to our his area but will look for other restaurants.

What a great seafood restaurant we found in Greenville. I started off with the She Crab Soup which was very good. Perfect consistency and seasoned well too. I ordered the Swordfish which was grilled to perfection and seasoned well. For dessert I decided to drink a Chocolate Martini which had a nice touch with RE in chocolate on top. But the drink itself tasted amazing. Lauren our server was top notch being on top of everything, and she was very attentive boasting a great personality too. The atmosphere is great too! I highly this place for anyone looking for seafood in Greenville

We eat here regularly as it has been our favorite restaurant for a couple years, but last night the service was terrible. We had to ask other servers for wine refills after waiting 30 minutes with empty glasses and never seeing our guy. At one point he offered us a desert list and we had not even had our main course yet - he forgot and ran into the kitchen to grab the next plates that matched our order. By then we were not interested in dinner anymore and were going to pay and leave when he ran up to our table with food. Our waters were refilled with tap water even though we paid for a bottle of sparkling water that disappeared for a while and reappeared at the end of dinner. The whole experience was a big disappointment as we were always waiting a long long time for every part of the meal except for the salads that came out 60 seconds after we ordered them... strange. All the timing was way off. I believe it was a failure of the restaurant to train this server to provide the usual high level of service that we were used to at Nantucket Seafood. There are many new, great places to eat in downtown Greenville and we will do some exploring.
