Description: Bourbon is a whiskey bar and Cajun-Creole kitchen located just off the steps of the South Carolina State Capitol Building. We serve over 350 bourbons and American whiskeys, as well as whiskeys from around the world. We craft classic cocktails using only the best ingredients, and focus our beer taps on local and regional beers. Our kitchen crafts locally-inspired Cajun-Creole cuisine and we pride ourselves on sourcing the best ingredients from our region, working closely with farmers, ranchers and fishermen. We do not take reservations.

The atmosphere and design of Bourbon is as unique as their menu and drink choices. Since opening this has been a go to spot for my friends for brunch ... and really any meals. Extra spicy Bloody Mary's and $3 Mimosas are staples for us on the weekend, and we love the selections on the cheese board, Mac n Cheese, Lamb Burger... it's all delicious.

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews here and the hotel suggestion. It was okay but did not live up to the reviews nor our expectation. I had the Oyster Po Boy and felt it just lacked a sauce or spread to bring it all together. The bread was okay but too much to handle the 5 oysters tomato and lettuce. Oysters were cooked perfectly so ate them an left the rest. Husband and brother in law had the Etouffee, both felt it was light on crawfish but had the heat that they wanted. Just a little overpriced for what you get. We are willing to pay for good food but this just missed the mark. I will say that the bartender did a great job on the drinks. Service seemed a little slow.

Went to Bourbon with a group of coworkers and it was a great experience! Service was excellent, server was attentive to our needs and requests, and food was impeccable! The charcuterie board was great, pickles, and my pork chop was cooked perfectly! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something different, special, and southern.

This is always my go-to restaurant in Columbia. Cool vibe, great staff, food and drinks. You can throw a dart at the menu and be extremely happy with that selection. Largest selection of Bourbon in the state of S.C. too.

Bourbon is consistently great! The food is delicious, the drinks are delicious, great energy in a relatively small restaurant.
