Calling it just a campground is a disservice. Not only is it a well maintained, quiet RV
Park, it has amenities and attractions abound! It is part of the South Carolina park system, and it’s cleanliness and maintenances to the max. There are over six miles of asphalt bike /walking paths through the woods, hiking paths, a water park, fishing dock, large lake and things I’m sure we didn’t even see! The staff at the campground couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating.they offer a shuttle to Folly Beach and downtown Charleston for a small fee. Can’t wait to go back!

Clearly the nicest county park I've ever seen. Lots of area to walk my dog. I found the dog park very cool. Unfortunately, the dog owners saw it as a big baby sitter so they would be off doing other things while there unruly dogs tormented. My 4 month old puppy was literally accosted by multiple dogs with no owners in sight. After 10 minutes at the park, I literally had to pick her up and depart. Certainly the only negative

Was a little concerned as this was listed as a "county park" but was very pleasantly surprised!! This place is excellent, clean, spacious with enough vegetation between campsites for adequate privacy. Employees very helpful. Would highly recommend as a camping site in Charleston. Trip to downtown only takes minutes across a multi lane bridge. Security is excellent. Not your normal "public" campground.

Clean and well maintained park. Helpful staff. Good location, close to Charleston attractions and area beaches. Lengthy bike trails. Things to improve, rain will have dirt splashing onto your RV, not much gravel left. Internet is flaky, Netflix kept hanging on one site, non existent on another, no CATV hookup. Bring a good book. Overall a good experience though, will return.

This RV Park is full hookup with very large sites and space between them. It’s very quiet and relaxing. The trip into historic Charleston is short and relatively easy. There is a shuttle provided by the park also(for a fee) and parking can be done but go early because the lots fill up fast.
I would definitely come back here!!
