I love the food and the atmosphere. If you have been there then you know how good it is. If not, it is a MUST GO to this restaurant.
Everything we have had there has been good. From the Rib Eye, to the chicken !!!
Don't forget to try a piece of HOMEMADE Carrot Cake !!!!

It's our second time back for dinner... Andy and the Team here are dishing-up terrific food over open oak fire grill. We love the chicken and shrimp dishes, but Ohhhh the Rib Eye over the fire was just the best for me. Nell, Sky, Emma, Carmen... all were great... we will be back! Keep up the good work.

Drive by here every day and finally tried it. The chicken is very flavorful and the sides are very creative. I never had grilled okra until last night. We sat at the bar and watched the chicken being prepared over an open fire. The owner (Andy) is front and center and right on top of things. The service was perfect. The prices are very reasonable too!

Cooked over a wood fire the chicken/porchetta/brisket/salmon is incredible with just the right amount of seasoning. The sides are different & tasty. The atmosphere is well done and inviting. Great place for lunch or dinner.

My mate and I were very pleased to bop into Andes for lunch one recent day, happy to see a new restaurant in the area that offered something new and interesting, something other than Lowcountry cuisine or turnkey sandwiches. We wanted to stop in during the weekend, but for some reason or other, the place is closed on Saturday and Sunday. No problem. The inside is small and neat, with an odd assortment of tables, stools and bars, inside or out. You stand in line, place your order and in no time flat, a nice wait person shows up with your food, all nestled in an open box. Pretty neat. Check the menu online before you go so as to speed things up. The kitchen is right out front, trattoria style, so the ambiance is pretty neat, too. As for the food, it's Peruvian since it's related to the Andes, not as we originally thought, to Andy's, as in Amos and Andy. And it's very good. We had some chicken, a half, and some brisket, the special of the day. Both trays came with two sides of veggies, all very nice done and tasty. The chicken was excellent, the beef okay, but not as zesty as some area BBQ joints, like Bullies. Sauces perk things up, however. I also had a cup of chicken, veggie and quinoa soup, which for me was neither savory or spicy, pretty plain, but amply and stocked with plenty of healthful ingredients. Both lunch platters were enough for four, so we took almost half home, making the $40+ lunch a decent deal for two meals. We'll be back, and hopefully my chicken soup will be zipped up a couple of notches.
