Our family of 8 adults, plus our baby granddaughter, stayed in this lovely traditional house for my nieces wedding weekend.
It suited our needs perfectly, being centrally placed near the amenities and our family and friends.
We had a slight problem with the electrics, which Rick attended to promptly.
Throughout the booking process Rick was always very quick to answer my queries and was extremely helpful. He was also extremely kind letting us stay later than the standard check out time, which enabled us to gather to say our farewells to the bride and groom and other family members who had traveled over from the UK.
We had a very enjoyable bbq in the pretty, private back garden, and particularly loved sitting on the rocking chairs on the verandah, watching the world go by.
Thank you Rick for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.
We LOVED this house! For a large family reunion the house offered many areas to gather and chat whether it was outside on the lovely porch, or inside the lounge, or large kitchen countertop area, or outside on the back grassy patio. We loved it. Rick was so helpful and always communicated and very easy to reach if needed. Excellent location to walk to the water and restaurants. It''s a must book. Thanks again Rick!!
Our stay in Bristol at this historic home was absolutely lovely! We were a family of 5; 3 adult children in town for a wedding at Blithewold. Stayed from Thursday-Sunday. Staying in a home vs a hotel is so nice if you're in the right home. This house has everything. The house is updated, clean, fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable. AND you can brings your dogs!!! The house is kid & dog friendly with baby gates and a fenced in yard. The house has AC which we needed for our very humid weekend. The front porch, with its adorable white rockers, is delightful, parking was no problem, the neighbors were friendly and its in-town location leaves you in walking distance to almost everything. The owner, Richard, is very easy to work with. He is available for any questions or concerns and very flexible. We had never been to Bristol and it was just wonderful. Down town has fabulous restaurants, bars, outdoor live concerts & ice cream! There is no local cable, so if you're looking to watch tv, bring your Netflix password. My only regret is missing the annual 4th of July parade. We heard a lot about it, so it must be a good one. The oldest in the country we were told. I would definitely recommend this home!
