This is by far the worst Starbucks I have been to. Staff members very miserable and care less.
Even when you tip they don't even thank or care. No wonder the tip jar is empty.

Typical choices crowded and noisy when we were there. Coffee always good if you're a Starbucks fan. Lunch and breakfast choices very limited. Parking lot small and serves three restaurants and a bank.

This restaurant is located in the Giant Grocery store in the Wynnewood Shopping Center. It has a small counter and is adjacent to a non-descript eating area in the store.

The only difference in the one on Montgomery Ave. is the service. Always friendly but the offerings are the same all over. Tables are usually occupied, even outside...."to go" is usually best.

My husband and I are Starbucks stalwarts. We're part of a group of 16 friends which has been meeting at the Ardmore location for about 15 years. In fact, we're so entrenched there that when the shop was being revamped, we were consulted about what kind of table they should purchase to best accomodate our group, I also had a drink named after me -- a banana Starr, which is a chocolate smoothie with a shot of espresso and another of caramel syrup..(I no longer order it, though, as it's now too expensive to have on a daily basis.)

The scuttlebutt is that the Ardmore location is one of the busiest in the area, and given the high socioeconomics of the Main Line, the patrons are among the most demanding. Among the regular movers and shakers have been the coach for the 76ers and members of prof sports teams. In other words, the baristas have to work really hard to keep their cool and the lines moving. Long-time barista Ashley, in particular, is superb.

The place isn't perfect. It's too small, the line's often out the door, and there isn't any outdoor setting right outside the setting. However, it's a convivial place for the many regulars, and we hope to be there for a long time to come.
