The ribs are excellent!! It is not a fancy elaborate restaurant but the food was first class for a BBQ joint. It was clean, neat, prompt and most importantly delicious.!!

Delicious authentic BBQ! The smoke flavor was not overwhelming and it complimented the tasty meat very nicely. The portions were generous and the service could not have been more pleasant. Recommended for all!

Stopped here on our way to Allegheny National Forest. SO GOOD! Highly recommend. Loved the pulled pork and brisket. Sides also excellent (tried fries, corn muffin, beans, and potato salad). Award winning ribs although we didn't try them.

Stopped here during our camping weekend to the Allegheny National Forest. Rustic atmosphere was great for a BBQ joint with the exception that the smokers were not going which would have been a nice touch. We ordered a Brisket sandwich with potato salad and a pulled pork sandwich with fresh cut fries. We also ordered some "Pig Candy (candied bacon). First the good.... The sides were delicious. The potato salad was creamy and tasty. The fresh cut fries were also good but could have benefited from some malt vinegar however there was none provided. Now the not so good....My husbands brisket while flavorful was overly fatty. My pulled pork was salty as if after the pork was shredded they added some sort of seasoning. The brioche buns on both sandwiches were tasty. The "Pork Candy" was very unappetizing. It was served cold and had a spoiled taste. They had no bottled water and served us tap water with no ice which we agreed to but I wish we would have had the option for cold water. Overall it was not the worst place I have ever been too but they could have done better.

We found this place while looking for a place to ride the motorcycle. Real BBQ joints are hard to come by around here. Located in the Allegheny mountains right next to the river. This place really brings it! Their menu is very extensive with too many choices (like that's a bad thing). We tried the "Feast for 2, Gluttony for 1", which included brisket, 1/2 chicken, pulled pork, ribs, beans and slaw. All were done to perfection and came out very quickly. Don't let the pictures fool you. This is a BBQ SHACK like their website says. It is extremely clean and has an ample amount of dining space, inside about 24 and outside about 12. Definitely will return.
