A jewel in downtown Royersford! Service was fast and very helpful. Two of us dined here. We both had the crawfish bisque. Very tasty, medium spice, and lotsa crawfish. Yum. We had the fried chicken and Korean Chicken tacos for entrees. Both were excellent and well priced. Plenty of food left over to take home too. Also, the cornbread was very good, but more like a dessert as it was sweet. They have an extensive draft beer list, many of which are local brews. Atmosphere was quaint and quiet. Perfect Friday evening. Wow!! We will be back.
Went to dinner with friends on the advice of a relative. Its located in downtown Royersford. Not being very hungry decided to select Italian pulled pork sandwich, which I am partial to. Served on a 6-8" roll. Portion was large. However, portion was extremely salty. Service was a little slow since there was only one other table with customers but server was friendly and gracious.
We have had several wonderful meals here! The quality of food is fantastic and the servers make sure that you are well taken care of. They have a terrific beer selection and the outstanding bar tenders, Alicia and Tony, are beyond excellent. We never miss the Thursday night $6 burger/chicken night. The selections of burger and chicken sandwiches are great and the hand cut fries and homemade Coleslaw make your meal even better. We love their happy hour from 4 to 6, seven days a week with half off apps and drink specials. If you are looking for a great meal that will not break the bank, try the French Quarter Bistro on Main Street in Royersford!
Oh my. What a disappointment. We have never had bad food here. Tonight was a disappointment. The Fried Pickles were good. The people we were with liked them even though they wouldn't think they would. The Sloppy Fries were good as well. Our friend liked the Korean Chicken Tacos which was 3 big tacos with a very generous portion of chicken. Our other friend had her standby of crab cakes with pasta. I ordered the jambalaya pizza and a cesar salad. The salad was a large portion but not really that tasty. The was an over abundance of bland dressing. The pizza was really good. I was really looking forward to taking 7 pieces home with me until I found a rubber band in it. My dining partner ordered po boy sandwich and was served the fried catfish dinner. Big difference. Our server must have been new and had no mentor. When she asked the host about a question we had he told her he didn't have a clue, looked at the menu and read what it said "I guess this is what it is." There were 2 tables seated in the dining room when we got there and we saw 4 people walk in after us. The service was very slow. It will be a while before we go back.
