Let me preface this review by saying that in my job I have flown all over the world and stayed at hotels in many countries, states and cities. This had to be the worse customer service I have ever dealt with in 28+ years. We are on a 2 week vacation and staying at 3 different hotels in the 2 week period. We checked in today for a stay from Thursday through Sunday. We've stayed here before and did not encounter this specific desk clerk before. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel is because they advertised a washer and dryer. So we go down to wash our clothes. Only after my wife placed the clothes to wash she notices that the slot where the coins go for the dryer is stuck in the "in" position. I come back to my room and call down to the front desk. First off this person answers the phone with food in her mouth and just says "hello". I explained to her that my wife attempted to use the dryer and the slot would not move. Her response was "well did you try it?" I responded no. She responds with "well maybe it needs a mans touch". Really? I went down the hall to see what is the problem, at the moment a hotel worker was walking in to address the issue. So I wait in the room because no one called me back nor the worker came by my room, (which I did tell him to let me know). So I walk back down to the dryer and nothing was done. Quite upset at this point because I have a full load of wet clothing. I go immediately downstairs and speak with this individual, my exact words were what is the deal with the dryer? Again, with food in her mouth and stains on her shirt, she says "oh well the dryer is not working". Yes I know that, but what are you going to do about it? Well nothing she says because the owner has gone home. Well when will the owner return, oh he won't be back until tomorrow. Well you have the owner give me a call when he gets in tomorrow to discuss this issue. She then says why are you giving me attitude? I said I am giving you attitude because you are the representative of this hotel. To which she said well if you don't like it you can pack up and leave. I said no, I will take care of this through Choice Hotels. She said yeah you do that and I don't care. Only after I called Choice Hotels, we now have a new hotel starting tomorrow. So here is what she should have done: 1. Apologize for the inconvenience. 2. I asked how long has the dryer been inoperative? She said oh it went out yesterday. OK so you knew it went out yesterday, so why wasn't there a note on the dryer saying it was inoperative? 3. At check in, why wasn't I given a BTW, just so you know the dryer is out. 4. Here is $5.00, there is a dryer place about 2 miles down the road, here ya go. 5. We will compensate you in some way for the inconvenience. Poor customer service, unprofessional, attitude issues.

made reservations for two nights. Checked in. $144 a night. Was old and not real clean. We went to the pool and came back to see ants in both beds. in the night stand and floor. it was dark so we could not see the whole floor and room. Told the desk clerk. It was late because we had a 4 hr drive to get there. She said manager leaves at three and could not get him My Granddaughter had bite marks on her arm. Was giving us a can of bug spray to solve the problem. No way were we spraying and sleeping in bug infested/sprayed room. None available. We left. Contacted credit card company to refuse payment. Desk would not give us our slip back. No one believed how we were treated. I did yell but I did not swear. Total lack of concern. I will not pay for the room. Ir our room had ants I know the one next to us had to have them too. $144.00 for ant infested room???? CRAZY we did not spend the night and we did not go back

We stayed at the Sleep Inn, Inn & Suites in Ronks, PA. The staff are all very nice, the breakfast was good, especially the waffles, and we liked that they had coffee and juice available in the lobby. The location is perfect for going out shopping, dinning and consignment shopping. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Room tip: every time we have stayed there, it was nice and quiet

We booked this property as it was close to Sight and Sound Theater. Would be ok for one night while passing through. Disappointed when we checked into our room and found it was not the suite we had booked on line. The photos on the website did not match our room. Front desk explained the website was not correct. I was upset as we had paid for the suit shown on line and was told this room was not available. We talked to a manager the next day and did receive price adjustment. Ice machine on our floor did not work our entire 4 day stay. Two evenings when we came back to our room the front desk clerk was sitting outside the hotel smoking and talking on her phone. Breakfast was goid with limited seating. Breakfast hostess kept all looking nice and meat and replenished food. She even wiped tables when someone left. We had a group of 5 rooms in our party. We requested a roll away bed for one of the rooms. After 3 requests we gave up.. small indoor pool. Restaurant and gift shop within walking distance. Overall room was clean...bathtub looked dirty but was just stained. Overall property needs TCL.

I liked the hotel. It was average budget hotel. We stayed 2 nights the hotel was tidy and well maintained .I liked it a lot better than the Gettysburg Inn. Location was convenient to anything in Lancaster you want to do. We did the train ride and museum in Strasburg ,Aaron and Jessica's buggy ride and Dutch Wonderland in Ronks. Good time for everyone
