You could take a guided tour, or simply poke your head into the various nationality rooms (as long as classes aren't in session). It's amazing that these rooms have been so well maintained over decades and decades. And the details in the woodwork and murals, etc. Well worth even a quick stop in just to see.

The Cathedral of Learning is an apt name for this gorgeous place. The grounds are beautiful and everything around there is worthy of visiting.

International classrooms were particularly unique and fascinating. Architecture is magnificent! Worth a visit.

Nephew and lady friend teach at Pitt, so as we walked by they said we should go in and see it. It's really quite beautiful. They knew some of the history, and got us to one of the top floors with a beautiful view of the city at night. No cost - just a marvel of architecture.

Nice and curious place, the university still
uses this historic building for imparting classes. The hall is remarkable and serves as studying room.
Go to the first floor to have better views of the hall. Go also to the back of the building, there is a nice grass area with a nice view of the building.
