“One of those must-visit burg restaurants...”
Reviewed 29 February 2012

I would rank this place up with Permanti's as the must-vist place if you want some local flare. Unique and delicious. Get there early becasuse Pamelas (there are multiple locations) has limited seating and fills up quickly. Open for breakfast and lunch only. Best known for their pancakes!

“Very original breakfast choices.”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

We went to Pamela's near the University of Pittsburgh, while visiting my daughter who is a student there. There was a long wait as this is a very popular restaurant with students. It was well worth waiting however. They had the most original breakfast choices! Crepe pancakes with different fruit choices. All types of omelots and french toats, plus some of the best fried potatoes I have ever had! The service was excellant. The atmosphere if very fun. There are game boxes decorating the wall. Take al look and you will find many games from the 60's, 70's and 80's. I highly recommend Pamela's to everyone!

“Yummy! Be prepared to wait on weekend mornings”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

My daughter recommended and took us to Pamela's on Saturday morning/early afternoon. We had to wait 30-40 mins for a table so we walked up and down Walnut Street for a bit before being seated. The meal was worth the wait. All of us truly enjoyed our meals and the prices were reasonable. We will be back. A good find.

“Tasty breakfast!”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

We visited Pamela's this weekend with friends, and everyone enjoyed the meal. Be prepared to wait on line, especially on weekends -- we waited about 30 minutes to be seated -- but it was worth the wait. The chorizo sausage was very good, the eggs made to order, and the potatoes were delicious. My husband loved the Tex Mex omelette. We all shared a short stack of their crepe-style pancakes, which were sweet and buttery with crisp edges. The coffee was barely passable -- weak and slightly watery.
