We chose this restaurant because of it's menu as it is hard to find creole restaurants. We sat on the first floor near the bar as there is no elevator to the large dining room upstairs. It was relatively quiet and we could carry on a conversation. Wait staff were prompt in service and got everything correct as we asked for some eliminations in our meals. My cocktail was large and heavy on the liquor...whoa. My husband's ice tea was dark and richly flavored. A fresh hot baguette was brought out in a paper sleeve which helped to keep it warm to enjoy throughout the meal. My husband's gumbo was spicy and just to his liking. He ordered crawfish etouffee and it also was spiced just right. My crabcakes were 95% crab with minimal binders. The grilled asparagus and green beans with bacon were good, nothing special. The only disappointment was the crawfish risotto did not have enough crawfish in it but was delicious. This was not the best creole restaurant we have ever dined at had but it was good. Most importantly, it was creole and for that we were thankful.
