We chose this restaurant because of it's menu as it is hard to find creole restaurants. We sat on the first floor near the bar as there is no elevator to the large dining room upstairs. It was relatively quiet and we could carry on a conversation. Wait staff were prompt in service and got everything correct as we asked for some eliminations in our meals. My cocktail was large and heavy on the liquor...whoa. My husband's ice tea was dark and richly flavored. A fresh hot baguette was brought out in a paper sleeve which helped to keep it warm to enjoy throughout the meal. My husband's gumbo was spicy and just to his liking. He ordered crawfish etouffee and it also was spiced just right. My crabcakes were 95% crab with minimal binders. The grilled asparagus and green beans with bacon were good, nothing special. The only disappointment was the crawfish risotto did not have enough crawfish in it but was delicious. This was not the best creole restaurant we have ever dined at had but it was good. Most importantly, it was creole and for that we were thankful.

Every time I'm in New Hope this is a must stop. Either for appetizers or late night drinks. This converted church has the BEST bartenders. I've been here probably 15 times and I've never had a bad experience. Whether enjoying a fresh mojito or mussels, everything here is perfection. Thanks!

The environment of dining in this restored church is one that will stay with us forever. The service was excellent and the food very good - if not as evocative as the architecture. Somewhat lacking in inspiration. The whole experience though is much recommended.

would not recommend if you have a gluten allergy, sensitivity or Celiac disease. They offer to make something but staff is not trained or knowledgeable in food prep, cross contamination etc. everything is in shared fryer also.

Most upscale restaurants in New Hope are pricey, but Marsha Brown's is exceptional. This is an amazing Creole restaurant in an old coverted church located in the heart of downtown New Hope. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. Fine dining at its best.
