Having visited Porthcurno countless times over the years, it still retains its charm and isolated qualities. Parking is easy with conveniences, with the beach only a 5 minute walk away. Although comming back up the hill is a slightly longer walk !! Close by is the famous Minack Theatre and lovely coastal walks from the beach and carpark

We had been wandering around near Minack theatre when we spotted seals in the water and immediately headed down to the beach. It is beautiful with gorgeous sand and amazing views. The rocks are worth climbing on and there was no one in sight. Parking is free off season when the museum it is attached to is closed

A lovely beach, we visited in February and it’s free parking. You just pay from April - October. Beautiful golden sand and turquoise waters. We enjoyed watching the seals frolicking in the surf too!

A gorgeous unexpected gem of a beach even on a freezing windy day in January! We played for hours and the children didn’t want to leave. A must visit!!!

Unexpected gem that has stunning views. There were very few people, the sun was out (after a torrential day before), and there was an added bonus considering this has been a filming location for the new Poldark series. Loved it!
