Description: Twenty9 is the newest success from partners Stephen Scutti and Executive Chef Edwin Tietjen, whose jointly-owned restaurant in Media, PA (Stephen's) has been topping the charts since 2003. Now, in concert with Patricia Archie, they have joined forces again to debut Twenty9, an upscale Malvern retreat located in the Great Valley Corporate Center. At 7,000 square feet, this two-level destination is a combined fine-dining restaurant, casual sports bar, and special event venue - all conveniently situated under a single roof. By day, Twenty9 accommodates the thriving businesses in the corporate center and surrounding areas, offering dine-in and delivered lunches, as well as lunch buffets. By night, Twenty9 dons its chic after-dark persona, with a focus on Happy Hour socializing, live music, and leisurely dining overlooking a landscaped panorama. From contemporary dining on the main floor to a sports bar on the lower level, to live music, Twenty9 provides the ideal setting for everyone!

This place is a gem! I cannot believe it’s only 3.5 in general as to me it is a definite 5. It is a real restaurant, not diner/sportsbar and it deserves a lot of credit.

We ended up here when our original venue became unavailable for a small family reunion. At first this seemed like a huge mistake. Our original seating area had a sports bar feel and a little loud. We requested to be moved to the back porch, which is enclosed. One of the specials of the day was Sea Bass. Over half the table of 12 ordered it. ALL were cooked PERFECTLY!!! One of the best pieces of Sea Bass I have ever eaten!!! Service was a little slow at first, but picked up as the night went on. And the only reason it doesn't get a full five stars. Hopefully will dine here again when in the area.

We had a small group family dinner of 25 people . The staff was very friendly, professional and very accommodating. Appetizers were excellent especially the Broccoli cheese aronci balls, Pepper Parmesan Cheese Ravioli were mouthwatering couldn't get enough. Main courses from fish chicken steak and pasta were all excellent. We did not have one complaint. The drinks were also made very well and enjoyed by all. We have been there for lunch and now will definitely go back for dinner. I heard they have a good Happy Hour but we were not able to make that.

We had dinner at Twenty9 and found the food and service to be 5 star. The problem we did have was the noise level. The seats near the bar were where the noise was very loud. The friendly host recommended the back room which was quiet with a nice atmosphere. Two groups (one 18 the other 14 ) came in and after that you could not even carry on a conversation it was so loud. We will be back because the food and service were great we just wish the noise level was better.

Extremely careless with food allergies. Their staff is not trained to understand the impact of a mistake. In my experience, they tell you everything is fine but they don't actually check. The attitude was unbelievable. My waitress in particular didn't want to be bothered with my concerns. The manager apologized and listened but I didn't get the feeling that anything was going to change. Don't risk it if you have a food allergy.
