“A+ all the way around”

Was just a solo traveler visiting Lancaster county and the surrounding area. A better host/hostess you could not ask for as they were both very welcoming and were able to give me hints about the area and where to go. The breakfasts were great and I never really had to even eat lunch because I was full from those, which left me more time to tour. And desserts were provided at night which was a treat (cookies/chocolates). The B&B is within easy walking distance of the shopping/restaurants and other things are not too far away if you wish to drive. The room was very comfortable and clean, and I found to be a great value. This would be a great place to meet and talk to fellow guests as there are several common areas. And apparently the town has several festivals/activities - I just happened to be there during their annual Halloween parade and that was a treat itself. Look forward to visiting the Lititz House if I am in the area again.

Sorry it has been so long ago. Will return as the place inside and out is gorgeous and the food was heavenly. Their shop in town was delightful, as well. A must stay when visiting Longwood Garden area.

I stayed at the Lititz House four years ago when it was under different ownership. I loved it then and wondered if the new owners would maintain its high standards. Not to worry! Heidi & John are PERFECT for this stately, comfortable. 1904 home; they could not have been more hospitable, accomofdating or personnable! We had a different breakfast each of our 11 days and each was delicious. John & Heidi arranged for us to go on the annual Lititz "chocolate walk' & to have dinner with an Amish family on their dairy farm. These just increased the enjoyment we had during our stay. My partner is a European-trained chef who owns and operates an inn and fine-dining restaurant here in WA. He was as happy as a clam at the Lititz House and congratulated me on choosing the perfect place to stay. We highly recommend it!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling. The room was very clean and comfortable, with en suite facilities, TV and DVD, radio/ I-pod docking station. Internet access was also available on request. There was also a shared lounge for guests, with books and DVD's to borrow, and a games room. The owners were very helpful during our stay, offering advice of where to eat and scenic drives. The breakfasts were delicious, and the owners made sure that drinks and muffins/ cookies were available throughout the day. Lititz is a lovely town, with some great places to see, and a handy location for seeing the Amish country.

Lititz House B&B was the destination for our 10th anniversary getaway. We were looking for a relaxing setting and it surpassed our expectations! We stayed in the first-floor Rita Room. The bed was very comfortable and the private bathroom was large with lots of counter space. Since there is only one guest room on the first floor we were also able to take advantage of the inviting sitting area in the front parlor of the home, across from our room. (Guests on the second and third floors have their own sitting/TV room.) Everything was very neat and clean and the home was beautifully decorated.

We cannot say enough about our hosts, John and Heidi. They are very genuine people who clearly love meeting their guests and operating a B&B. Heidi cooked up a delicious breakfast of stuffed french toast, sausage, fresh fruit, muffins, juices, and plenty of coffee. (They even set out pre-breakfast "early coffee" for us to help get going in the morning.) She also had freshly made muffins and chocolate chip cookies always available in the kitchen for a quick snack.

The location of the B&B within the town of Lititz is only two or three short blocks from the Main Street. We felt very comfortable strolling through the town, visiting Wilbur Chocolate, the Sturgis Pretzel factory, the Perfect Blend tea and coffee shop (they have over 200 varieties of loose tea!), and other historic buildings along the way.

Thank you John and Heidi for a great experience!
