Beautiful small hotel with lots of space in the rooms. Very tasteful décor and apt for couples and families. Travelled in the offseason and had the whole, very picturesque town to ourselves.

Service is friendly, small-town style and the breakfast is amazing. Thank you for a great experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for some peace and quiet.

If you are a light sleeper though, be wary of the freight train that goes by. I am not sure at what time exactly it goes by but I heard it at least once overnight. Very small price to pay as, should I not have been awake or a light sleeper, probably would have never heard it.

Room tip: Ask for fourth floor facing the parking lot entrance. It's actually very quiet.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Inn at Jim Thorpe to celebrate my 30th birthday. We booked the couples escape package offered by the Inn and had a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

We arrived Friday evening to fresh chocolate chip cookies and a bottle of local wine. We stayed in a King room (room 101) which has access to the first floor patio/porch overlooking Broadway, the Main Street of the town. We sipped wine and enjoyed watching the evening descend over the town.

We ate dinner at the Broadway Grill in the hotel. Service was quick, staff friendly, and food very good. I had the butternut squash and sweet potato curry and my wife had the Mediterranean chicken. We were very satisfied with the food as well as the beer and wine selection.

After eating we ventured to the hotel bar. It is a beautiful bar with both modern feel and older, Victorian touches. Brett Andrew was performing live, solo music and we enjoyed meeting both local patrons and visiting couples alike. We were stuffed from dinner but would have loved to try the late night menu. There is also a club downstairs called the "underground" that featured a dance party on Saturday night.

The following day we booked a couples massage at the spa in the hotel basement. It was my third massage (my wife has had many more) and we were both very impressed with our spa treatments (thank you Rose and Valerie). We came away relaxed and refreshed on a rainy Saturday. We spent the rest of the day enjoying Jim Thorpe's sites, all within an easy walk. The Inn is perfectly situated to enjoy all of the shops, attractions, and restaurants of town.

The hotel rooms were clean and felt updated without losing any charm. The room was stocked with a Keurig, water bottles, popcorn and a fridge and microwave. Our room, located next to the office and along the main road was a bit noisy, although this isn't surprising for an old building and didn't subtract much from our experience. We were tempted to stay in the room and relax all weekend.

We did not get to all of our "must do's" in town and will definitely be back. We would gladly choose the Inn again and recommend it to any visitors to Jim Thorpe.

We need a getaway, close to home and a place to relax. We found it in this wonderful town. There is so much to see and do that we didn't get everything done. The quaint shops are wonderful. Loved the museum and the curator. She is so knowledgeable of the town and history. Can't wait to go back.

Room tip: We chose a suite facing the street so that we could people watch. Loved it!

Visiting Jim Thorpe, PA had been on my bucket list and it did not disappoint! The Inn was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. We had amazing food and drinks in the Broadway Bar and Grille and the vouchers the Inn gave was an added bonus. We wanted to have a haunted experience so we asked for the most haunted room and we certainly got it! Very cool!

My husband and I have been coming here for years. I have lost count on how many times. We love the rooms, staff and everything about it! Some rooms maybe on the smaller side but are very comfortable and clean while others are larger. Food is always good. We stayed on the 2nd floor once with windows to the balcony ... if possible I wouldn't again only b/c in summer and nice weather you can sit out there and there are people right in front of your window. The balcony is great though, we love getting a bottle of wine and a board game and sitting out on a nice day. We absolutely love visiting the Inn and the town. Cant wait for our stay again in June!
