We visited here on a whim, and spent a good hour or more exploring the range of displays at the museum. Since it was devoted to the infantry, it was not extensive, but complete. It covered the Australian infantry in all wars, and was very well presented.

Beautiful displays of history, drawing out the big pictures of the Australian defence force. Creating a respectable atmosphere to venture around the exhibit. Gift shop and cafe as well as an amazing exhibition and data about the developments in Australia's past. Some degree of interaction.

The cafe owner makes all the soups and lasagne etc. I had chicken and sweet corn soup which was delicious, hot, big serve and packed full of chicken. They also made a perfect almond milk latte. The service was friendly and the cafe was very clean. I did notice there were lots of lovely sandwich and wraps other guests were eating, so I would recommend this for a great lunch out

Kids under 5 free and adults are $8 each so it was a cheap activity to kill an hour and I found it to be very interesting and a great way to find out and see some things from our past. There closed Monday's and Tuesday so don't get caught out going early on in the week.
Great display of military helicopter, cars, uniforms, guns, ammunition and uniforms.
Small but fair for the price they charge for you to get in.

Amazing displays which are very well developed. They have found a good balance or words and displays, which convey the information and the emotions in a powerful way. Gift shop and cafe are excellent too.
