Outside looks a simple but nice hotel.
Inside has the reception, restaurant and 2 floors with 70 rooms
The back rooms face to a nice garden with a litle pool for children. It was closed
The front rooms face to a busy ave-road with trucks as it is the main road from coast to interior mines.
Thos is the first hotel you meet entering the town.
Exterior looks good.
Interior is very old.
Carpets are so old and it is hard to breath in thr room. Wall painting is as old as the rest. Mold can be seen in some parts. Air conductes are completely dirty. We found 2 cockroaches in our room.
Old furniture remains still fine.
Matress pass away long ago.
Bed cover and sheets are fine.
The worst: the manager.
He is the receptionist,manager, gardener, breakfast cooker .... all in one. Of course he looks very tired, but also very agressive.
We asked him for other rooms in the upper floor, the hotel almost empty, he started a chain of lies to avoid showing us another room.
He was very rude.
I asked for the manager. He was the manager. i asked for the complaint book, there was no book, I asked for the owners phone or email, he gave me the email of the webpage he reads everyday.
We end phoning the police and magically he had more rooms.
Next day we cancel the second room and moved to Quest (million times better with polite nice receptionist).
The manager promised to send us the cancelation by email after booking.com gave its consent.
Instead he charge the money and rise a complaint agains us arguing a misconduct.
It is amazong he was so rude and agressive and then he acuse us of being "misconduct".
As a tour leader guide 12 years working, 70 countries and thousands of hotels all over the world, I have never see such a bad person and recived such an agressive and bad treat.
He threatened us and was unrespectful to my wife.
I tried to find the contact of the owners but it us imposible. He seems to be in charge of everything and explains why he behaves so bad to customers.
When I see more stars and good coments I wonder if they are fake.
A fully renovation of the hotel, new manager, and more staff is in urgent need.
