Zeus Street Greek is located next door to Tella Balls and opposite Grill’d restaurant at The Avenue food precinct, Level 1 outside Shellharbour Stockland shopping centre. You have the option to eat either inside or outside, choose your table first before you order to save yourself from disappointment should the table be taken while ordering your meal(s). There are menus allocated on all tables and of course inside on their digital menu screen. Select what you want, then go to the counter and order and pay for your meal(s). In return, you will receive a buzzer, when your meal(s) are ready, the buzzer will go off and you collect your meal(s). I ordered ‘Flame Grilled Lamb – From the Spit’, while the rest of my family ordered the same but had pork instead of lamb (pork dish is $17.50 each and the lamb is an extra $2 at $19.50). Each dish accompanied with warm, fluffy, soft pita bread and a small serving of tzatziki dip. Now we thought that 200g of meat (that is the amount of meat you would receive) wouldn’t be a complete meal, so we also ordered from the ‘Make It A Meal!’ section small chips and a drink at $5 each. The meat is served in a medium sized porcelain hot pot with a lemon wedge with that amazing pita bread and delicious tzatziki dip, along with our extras – chips and drink – you can choose any drinks (excludes alcohol) from the fridge (they have a range of canned soft drinks, bottled juices or water – we chose bottled water). I can honestly say that, we were all struggling to finish our meals, it was very filling. Had I known that, I would have replaced the small chips and drink with small salad and drink at $6 each, that would have been a better choice. The chips were amazing, crispy and delicious, especially when dipped in tzatziki. If we had room, we would have had dessert but we couldn’t manage more food. So we decided to go there another day just to eat their desserts. WOW! Their desserts were amazing. We ordered ‘Nutella Doughnuts’ at $9 per serving, it comes with six balls of warm crispy doughnuts but nice and soft inside, drizzled with Nutella and walnuts – a great combination, the nuts compliment the Nutella giving it that extra nutty taste. Of course when ordering, you are asked if you want the walnuts added just in case of allergies. We also ordered ‘Filo Custard Pastry’ at $9.50 per serving, custard wrapped in their crispy, flaky pastry dusted with cinnamon sugar. Word of warning, the custard was lava hot, I didn’t expect it to be that hot. The taste was exceptional though, needless to say very filling once again and cooked freshly when ordered. You have three options in ordering your meal dine in; takeaway; or home delivery with a $5 delivery fee added to your cost. The service was fast and friendly, with comfortable surroundings and settings. Great for families, friends or couples, a bonus if you have children because it is conveniently located opposite play centre, where your children can go out and play within supervising distance while you’re enjoying your meal without the pressure to hurry. FREE parking indoor and outdoor, opened seven days a week from 11am to 9pm. I would definitely go there again, excellent price with a guarantee smile on your face where you leave the place on a full tummy of delicious foods.
