We stayed for three nights during the Scone air show weekend and were very pleased to find warm, comfortable large room on the upper floor. Fully stocked tea/coffee making facilities, small microwave oven, one of those coffee capsule machines plus a regular kettle, toaster, plates, knives. Ample extra thick soft blankets and spare pillows in the roomy wardrobe.
The bathroom has been renovated and a big plus was the double towel rail (the first we've come across in years of staying in motels around Australia) and two hooks on the bathroom door, not just one. Made hanging up towels to re-use through our stay much easier. The bathroom had a light/heater/demister buttons, appreciated when using the bathroom in the cooler evening/early morning.
Whilst the motel is located adjacent to the train station and centre of town, it's in such a quiet location we weren't bothered at all by road noise, or noise from other rooms.
Very much appreciated the carpark, easy to navigate even when full with other cars.

Made a booking whilst travelling, over the phone, expecting a great nights accommodation with onsite restaurant and a bar, after a long drive, not what we got. After paying whilst travelling, to arrive and be told that the motel was undergoing renovation and that there was no restaurant or bar facility, I was a tad annoyed. Why could they not tell me this 4 hours earlier when I rang? Too tired to argue for a refund or to find somewhere else. The room we were given was clean but there was noise from the construction site like compressed air being released that went on all night. Every few other guests who I think were workmen on the site. Still charged $149 for the night. Construction noise started at 7 am next morning.
