We were in a group of 27 and stayed for 2 nights. We had Rm 38.
The room was very old - the surface of the cabinetry was peeling off which summed up the state of the room. It seriously needs a renovation. Even small things such as no soap, no plug, dud light, only 1 coat hanger, wardrobe doors which did not fit.... etc. The bed was comfy.
And that was the best part of the place! We had dinner which was quickly served. It was a small portion of very rare steak, a few chips and some tired salad.
Breakfast on Day 1. In addition to our party there were a few others. Clear your own table (until an admin person arrived). The various items were acceptable it is just that as one item arrived there was only sufficient for part of the queue. As a result, our breakfast was eaten one item at a time!. There was only one member of staff to do everything and so our tour leader pent time in the kitchen to speed things up. The buffet tables were a mess.
Day 2. How could it be worse? Difficult but achieved without a problem.
In addition to our party, there was a group of others - some estimates were between 100 and 300. Standing room only. Still only one member of staff. One of our group tried to eat her cereals with a fork. Another couple shared a knife for the 'crispy' bacon. No hot water for a drink, food was a rare site. My wife had a slice of toast and we retreated to our room for a hot drink.
In summary, do not go, even if desperate. Surely some official body should stop this place bringing down the reputation of a fine resort. (This qualifies as a resort because of a pool and tennis court).
