Stayed here with my partner with a Groupon. Awesome value. Clean, neat room with lots of hot water. Very peaceful. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Stayed in a few budget places and this is the best. Helpful staff too. Going again soon :)

Perfect hotel for a short trip. Has a fridge and tV in the room.

Breakfast is included and you can upgrade for a hot breakfast they normally charge for this but didn't for us as they were so kind.

Bit far away from Jervis bay so you have to drive everywhere

Only huge problem with the room was the double bed was two singles put together and kept moving apart.

Would stay again!

This hotel had amazing staff especially the Manager Lea. Lea made us feel welcome instantly with her open smile. Her knowledge of the local area was truly helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good tennis court and beautiful pool. Close to shops and beaches, close to fishing spots. Would go there again. Hotel is getting renovations too.

I stayed here a week ago and will not stay here again. I will pay extra and stay somewhere else. Why? Because of the following:

The positives:
It was close to the pub for dinner / drinks (see my review for the pub if you want to know more)
Breakfast was included and for a charge you could upgrade to a cooked breakfast.
Dan Murphy's was next door
Bed was very comfortable
The room was large

The negatives:
They have spotlights in the car parking areas all night, which keeps the rooms very light in the middle of the night. It is light enough that you can walk around, open the fridge and get yourself a drink without turning on any lights! If you like (or need) a dark room to sleep in....do not stay here!

The location is right next to the highway, which means constant traffic noise. Even Sunday morning is not quiet, I was awake at 5am from the noise! If you like to stay in a place that is quiet.... Again do not stay here.

The hot water in the bathroom (Room 7) was dangerous. The temperature changed halfway through my shower to boiling hot... and I mean HOT! If I was a child or an elderly person, there was a very high possibility of burns. Luckily I jumped out in time, but it then took another 1 - 2 minutes for the temperature to be cool enough to get back in. I did put this issue on the feedback form for the hotel, so hopefully something is being done about it. The bathrooms are also very dated, 1970s would describe them well.

Other things that I would expect when paying over $160 a night for a room:

There was no remote for the TV in the main room. I had to manually turn on and off at the wall, as well as changing channels.
No tissues in the room
Pool temperature was nice, but it obviously hadn't been cleaned for a while.

If you have the choice, pay a bit extra and stay somewhere else. I will not be returning!

A good location and the room was fine. Friendly staff who went out of their way to solve a problem for us. The hotel has a largerange pool than most, a tennis court and provides racquets. The adjoining bars and bistro offer good well portioned food with a discount for guests.

Room tip: Ask for a room at the rear as it is adjacent to the main road
