Amazing place. Old world features preserved and new world features added. Thinking of coming back for a few days to enjoy this hotel and the town. Over the road is Coles. Centrally located you could not ask for better

Stopped here for one night, have stayed here in other occasions. When we arrived we were taken to our rooms, lovely to be helped with the bags. Heater was already on in the room. Rooms was small, but very clean, bathroom was also very clean, only downside for us was the firmness of the mattress. Made use of the guest lounge and enjoyed a Lovely continental breakfast in the morning. On checkout helped out to the car with our bags and our windscreen had be de-iced. Great friendly service

Arriving in the late afternoon after a very long day on a chariety event we were greeted by the owner of the hotel on the footpath eager to welcome us and help with luggage. His polite welcoming mannor was wonderful he escorted us to our room which was clean and comfortable. The entire building is beautifully appointed the owners are lovely people who genuinely want to look after their guests..I look forward to returning.

We drove through Narrandera at 6.30pm on a public holiday weekend. We parked the car outside the New Criterion by chance and loved the look of the B&B. We called the doorbell to ask whether there was a room and to our luck one room was available because someone had to leave a day early, otherwise we later found out, the place was full. The service was exceptionally thoughtful - Ross kindly cleaned our car windscreen in the morning, came to open to gate, made an espresso coffee first thing when we came to breakfast. Beautiful deco building restored with restraint. Simple but had everything we needed. In the middle of town located opposite Coles. Secure parking. Ross and his partner works very hard to keep the hotel B&B running. Doing the breakfast, front of house, concierge, laundry of the towels, and much more that we wouldn't have seen in our short stay. We are grateful to have stayed and experienced this B&B. Thanks Ross and partner.
