Lovely historic accommodation that will impress! Stayed with our family in a family room and it was large and well equipped. The host was fantastic, a true gentleman. Security parking was provided. We booked direct and a healthy continental breakfast was provided. It was a cold night but the room was well heated. The unit did cut in and out during the night which took a little getting used to. Loved the beds and linen.... It is the little things that make the difference. We would most definitely return to this beautiful hotel.

What is there not to like about this excellent accommodation?
The hosts are just that - hospitable, welcoming, accommodating & helpful without being intrusive.
The accommodation is excellent with more than just a room but coming with the added well equipped lounge & other areas to relax in.
All this with the added charm of a beautifully renovated pub now in use as a bed & breakfast.
Just excellent!

I stayed here a few years ago and again last night. The place is terrific. A deco pub in the middle of town has been tastefully updated to make a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Suffice to say it was a bleak and wet night coming of the Hay Plain. The Criterion was warm and the room I stayed in had reverse cycle A/C so was soon toasty. So was the guests lounge, with facilities for making hot drinks and comfortable furniture. A good nights sleep in the excellent bed was followed by breakfast in the well furnished dining room of cereal and toast and even a good coffee- all part of the tariff. There is secure parking which means one doesn't have to drag everything inside for an overnight stay. The host was friendly and obliging. This is the only place I would stay in Narrandera.

Room tip: All rooms are on the first floor

Wonderful old pub restored and retaining its character, while updated for today's traveller needs. Top host and owner who will look after any enquiry or request. Quiet and peaceful through day and overnight with a couple of nice areas away from room to sit and relax. Comfortable and warm rooms with A/C and electric blankets for winter warmth. Free wifi worked well plus convenience of on site secure complimentary off street parking. Morning breakfast in hotel dining room an absolute bonus and Murray, the owner, will make you a great expresso coffee. All rooms on first floor so need to negotiate stairs. Will be my first choice if again in the area.

The Hotel is in the middle of town. It is a fairly recent refurbishment of an old Pub. The bar is no longer open to the public. The rooms are comfy but still old pub dimensions with ensuite. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast room with attentive service. Staff cleaned all the bugs off the windscreen while car parked overnight in the secure off street parking.
