I walked from our motel to the Information centre where I met a lovely lady who was full of helpful advice on what we could do around Merimbula and the Sapphire Coast region.

Called in here to talk to the staff about local road conditions in the area and to ask about the best roads to travel on to our destination. The staff where very helpful with the information we required.

New site, basically twice the size of old site with half of the amount of merchandise. Really poorly managed staff more worried about advising you of their heritage and local indigenous inhabitants rather than what you should see and do in this beautiful hamlet. Real let down and could not even buy a ceramic coffee cup but happy to promote their shot glasses and stubby holders.
