Online advertising photos may give the wrong impressions. The rooms are joined in the style of a 1980's outback motel. very very close...
Forget about privacy, intamacy, peace and quiet. You share your neighbours TV habits, loud voices, cigarette smoke and late nights etc. There is no escape at night
While the island is great, this accomodation is not what we imagined.
After twice staying at Milky Way this was a sad come down.
The grounds were tidy, staff are friendly and its a good location.
Really needs a makeover or even a scrub would help.

Thank you for your feedback. Our rooms are close together, however, on our website you can see in our videos etc that this is the case. Usually, our guests are mindful of noise levels and this is not normally a problem. Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and guests are asked to smoke in the garden area if need be. We are slowly updating the premises. Our Malabar rooms have undergone a partial renovation and updates will continue around the Lodge.
Kind regards.

We stayed here for eight days and enjoyed it. Janine and Peter are helpful and available and our accommodation was cosy and comfortable. There are barbecues in the complex. Location is excellent and the island itself is fascinating.

We stayed at Blue Lagoon last week for 7 nights. Had a wonderful stay, thanks to Greg and Janine. Peter was busy with the tours. Last time our tour with Peter was fantastic. A wonderful location. Janine was most helpful with our travel back to Sydney. Pity our flight was delayed, but that's all part of the journey. We look forward to next year.

As a group of 9 we had a great time at Blue Lagoon thanks to Janine,Peter & Craig..the location is central to the breaches, shops & restaurants. Don't expect a cheap holiday as it's a small Island & everything is shipped in..Lot's of walks and beautiful beaches.

Beware this place is old and dated and not worth the $$$ paid but as accommodation is limited on Lord howe they can charge what they want. It needs updating desperately it was like a motel out of the 70's.

Room tip: don't stay here
