The perfect location to explore the island and feel secluded whilst in the centre, Sharon and Peter have thought of everything when it comes to to thoughtful touches of luxury and necessity in the cosy accomodation. Stunning views of the ocean and mountains. We will definitely be back!

Wowser! Sharon and Peter are excellent hosts with valuable and insightful knowledge of their beautiful home of Lord Howe Island. Nothing is too much trouble, from the airport pick and tour around the island. The apartment was spacious and so clean. The French champagne, sour dough bread, eggs, coffee, milk and even a homemade slice was such a genuine touch to our stay. The bed was comfy and the added extras of yoga mat, beach towels and picnic set made our stay so easy and enjoyable. Drinks on the deck at sunset was spectacular. We will be back!

Lord Howe Island is a play to unwind and commune with the extraordinary beauty of the environment. Waimarie Appartments are the perfect location for your stay. They are fully self contained, with every little need and comfort perfectly catered for by Sharon and Peter. The appartments look over the stunning mountains on the southern end of the island unlike much of the other accommodation which is further north on the island and enclosed by gardens. It is an ideal location with serene ambiance and atmosphere.

Our apartment was so quiet and secluded, with great views of Mt Gower & Mt Lidgbird and the ocean. The sound of the waves on the reef was so calming. Our apartment was spacious, modern & exceptionally clean and had everything that you could need. We had a outdoor eating area & bbq where we celebrated the sunset & shared meals with our friends, who were in the second unit. Our hosts went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect & even stepped in to help when our car booking went astray. Thank you Sharon for the lovely coffee, the bubbles in the fridge on our arrival, my first lamb feeding experience & your pre-arrival advice. It all helped make our stay so wonderful.

This place is special. We stayed a week and loved everything. The unit was superb, with little personal touches supplied by our most gracious and accommodating hosts Sharon and Peter.
The view from the unit was terrific, and it was so quiet that we slept in every morning. The friendly restaurants were great and after dinner they drive you back to your accommodation. The island is a true gem with flights from Sydney, Port Macquarie and also the Gold Coast it is easier to get to.
There are only 400 visitors allowed at any time so it isn’t crowded. If you want a great escape, please consider Waimarie at Lord Howe Island, you won’t regret it.
