After such a wonderful stay here back in January, we returned again in June, this time for two nights.

This resort is truly lovely, irrespective of the season. Even if you aren't into swimming in winter, the pool area is perfect for a quiet rest with a good book. You have to be quick, but the 'egg chairs' along the side are very comfortable and many an hour can be wasted away tucked up in one.

This time we had a deal where a three course dinner at Seasons was included. The chefs at Seasons have been working alongside the Masterchef television show recently, and the quality of the food was simply superb. The service was fast and friendly, and there was no problem with the fact our twelve month old was accompanying us.

The room was as lovely as before. This time we were on the third floor, right on the end, which was nice as it meant there was no 'dual entryway' causing excess noise like last time. Whilst we could tell the resort was heavily occupied, we never experienced anything detrimental to our stay as a result.

The beach area and salt village precinct is quite lovely and relaxed. We spent many hours just on the beach relaxing with our little one and enjoying the cooler winter days. There is plenty of room to run around and explore in the Salt surrounds, and we were always made to feel very welcome by the staff we came into contact with.

I would have no hesitation recommending Peppers Salt to friends and family and hope to be back soon - this time for a little longer!

Dear RGSasch,

Thanks for taking the time to provide valuable feedback in relation to your experiences at Peppers Salt Resort and Spa.

It's great to see such a large amount of repeat visitation at the resort particuarly during the winter months.

I'm pleased to read that you ahve found our resort lovely and you were able to take some time out to sit by the pool and enjoy a good book.

I'm also thrilled that you were able to experience Season Restaurant for Dinner; the team have been very excited with the involvement and partnership with MasterChef which has certainly increased their motivation and the lift in product. We place a great emphasis on front of house service and it's great to see that this is being reflected in our guest feedback - thank you.

It's great to read that you were given a room which satisfied your needs without a dual entry.

Thank you once again for your fantastic feedback; it is greatly appreciated.

Look forward to welcoming you back to Peppers Salt Resort and Spa.

Best regards

I have stayed at Peppers so many times. Ive only ever had one bad experience when the room I booked (2 bedroom plunge pool) was over booked and we could only have 2 x studio's. The resort did make up for this though.

I love the feel of the resort. Its large, relaxing and very cruisy.

The studios are good, they are rather small but hence why its alot cheaper then a 1 bedroom!

The beds are really comfortable and the movies and internet are included in all rooms. I have had one studio with a very small screen but otherwise all is good in the rooms.

The 1 bedroom's are amazing. They have a spa bath, kitchen with full fridge, laundry, tv, lounge and dining table. Very spacious and stylish.

The brekkie at the hotel restaurant is always good, great food and more then enough of a selection.

All in all i love Peppers and will continue going back there again and again.

Dear Chels87,

Thanks so much for taking the time to provide valuable feedback regarding your experiences at Peppers Salt Resort and Spa.

I'm so pleased to read that you've stayed many times and you've had such a great time. The resort is a large open plan resort and it's great that you've made use of it.

Sorry to read about our over booking experience which affected one of your stays - great that the team were able to make up for this.

Once again, thanks for your valuable feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

We have had four separate stays at this resort and all have been fabulous. The first two were so good our daughter decided it would be a great place for her wedding! It was the most beautiful function and weekend and all the families said they'd be back. The resort is a great mix of relaxation and fun. There's bike riding, tennis, ocean sports etc. and Gold Coast golf courses are less than 1/2 hr away. The resort pool is great for kids of any age, and if you're after a quieter swim, you can just pop around to the other lovely pool at the rear of the property which also has a spa. The day spa (Golden Door) is second to none... the most relaxing experience from the time you set foot in the door. Not cheap, but hey, you get what you pay for. The guest rooms are lovely and well fitted out, and we have had several beautiful meals in the resort restaurant. They do seem to have some problems with the room keys... they use the keycard system and we have had to have them reset each time we've stayed there, but this is a minor issue in the scheme of things. If you're a shopper you will have to drive (I recommend a day trip to Harbourtown for some serious brand name bargains) as there's very little at the Salt Village. This resort is an ideal getaway for the family or romantic escape for two. Mid-week stay outside of school holidays is the best time as its not so busy.

Room Tip: Spend the extra few dollars to upgrade to a plunge pool suite... they're absolutely divine!

Good afternoon wilsoncm65,

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your four experiecnes at Peppers Salt Resort and Spa; we greatly appreciate it!

It is fantastic to read that your short breaks have turned into a wedding at the resort and then having the guests all give positive feedback also.

I am sorry that you have had some negative experiences with the key card system; it is an issue we are trying to rectify with new cards and regular maintenance of the system.

Once again, thank you for your fantastic feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Best regards

We had a great stay at Peppers Salt. The room was lovely and spacious with a nice view of the pool. It was great to have free movies to watch. The breakfast at Seasons every morning was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The only downside was the maintenance work that was being done which disturbed the otherwise peaceful resort. We would definitely stay at Peppers Salt again.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing. If you want to get away from it all without having to travel too far then this is perfect! It felt like we were away on our own little resort, but with SO much to do. Beautiful buffet breakfast, Bikeriding along the beachfront, relaxing in the gorgeous pool, bit of shopping, and then back to the stunning room to relax in the spa bath!

Loved it so much and have already been back since and going again later this year!! Loved it!
