With the recent weather the blow hole was full on and the area not full of tourists. This made it easy to park near the venue. Always a place better when the seas are up and the weather bad.

it was a cool thing to see. did not know that there was something like that. a little crowded - many tourists around. saw the water come up the blowhole once. you probably have to drive there. there are some signs - follow as it is for safety.
It’s the most famous thing in Kiama, but for once it’s not overrated! A real natural wonder! Must see. Definitely better on days with big southerly swell.
The tide was out when we went today and not much wind. Unfortunately the spray was minimal, would be better on an incoming tide.
Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.
Returned here after 25 years tonight. Much as I remember it - though footpath & handrails more developed - and with many, many more tourist buses. Still, it's on a beautiful headland and fun to watch to watch the tide pulsate through it. Whitewash lighthouse still majestic - and I love the '100 Year of Anzac' marking.
We visited on a day when the tides and wind was wrong, however it was still amazing to see the size of the blowhole and imagine the water force through it.
Lots of tourists around.
