We were unlucky to visit the Blowhole on a calm day and at low tide. If possible, visit when the sea is angry and at high tide. Not much to see otherwise.

The weather wasn't 100% cooperative for our visit but we knew we had to see the Kiama Blowhole. The area where the blowhole is located is in a well maintained park area. You can drive your vehicle up to the area, park and walk out to the blow hole. The scenery is quite nice.

The lighthouse is nice to see but the main attraction is the blowhole where the sea water rushes up in the sky with a deafening sound.

Visited the world famous Kiama Blowhole but with a calm ocean there is very little to see. Over the decades the ocean has worn down the bassalt and the mouth of the blowhole has got wider, so the ocean surg does not reach the heights it did in my childhood. If you see an angry sea that is the time to get down there to watch.
