What a gem the Laurels is - a beautiful historic house surrounded by rambling private gardens and beautiful pastoral land. The interior is a collectors dream with incredible antiques and interesting furnishings throughout. Hosts Lindy and David truly spoil their guests with wine and snacks in the room, a complementary wine and cheese cocktail hour and an incredible cooked breakfast. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. This is definitely a hidden gem.

A beautiful home with two lovely hosts, Lindy and David. Room was great, bed was nice and the pillows were fantastic. Great breakfast the next day which featured scrambled eggs, mushrooms, lovely toast and juice. A lovely spot to hide away from modern society

A step back a few decades to a traditional B&B where the hosts are happy for a chat and provide evening snacks and a drink. Many of the accommodation we stayed at in our trip had no human interaction when arriving or leaving, so was refreshing to be greeted and farewelled by Lindy. Enjoyed our overnight stay here and the cooked breakfast. Many books and old furniture are a highlight of the residence.

Lovely home full of beautiful antique furniture, with very welcoming hosts. Our room was large & comfortable with all amenities.

Breakfast is served at an impressive dining table with china table ware. Lindy cooked a great English breakfast & was happy to tell us about the history of her property & the Kangaroo Valley.

She also offered us cheese & wine the previous evening but unfortunately we didn’t make it back in time from a walk around Fitzroy Falls.

Room tip: Entrance is very unclear and the drive takes you up to a garage block next to run down buildings. Access is via a small path thro flowers

Lindy and David have a beautiful home and were such great hosts. They made us feel very welcome and gave us some great tips for walks and how to access them given there were a number of roads closed following the floods earlier this year. And so many books! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
